Pretty baubles on an otherwise ugly day
It's yet another rainy, nasty day outside, the basement is taking on water and the schools are closed due to road flooding. So in the spirit of making lemonade out of lemons, let's look at this jar filled with goodies I bought last week.
It's got all sorts of miscellaneous jewelry bits- I picked it up mostly because I wanted the jar but also because the sparklies inside were calling out to me. So when I got home I dumped it all out and started to sift through it. Certainly nothing spectacular but lots of cute things that remind me of playing dress up at my grandma's and a few stand out pieces that I found interesting.

Wow, you have some rather valuable bits there...
ReplyDeleteNice! Can't wait to see what you make with your new goodies. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that all was in the jar!
ReplyDeleteYou've got some very pretty pieces there. Those round clip-on earrings remind me of the ones the older ladies wore to church when I was a kid (guess you know what I was paying attention to, lol). The cameos are beautiful, and are those opal earrings? Lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat little jar held all that? Wow! You've got some great pieces there!
ReplyDeleteI thought the jar was going to be my favorite, but with all of that who can tell???
ReplyDeleteOOO love your jar treasure chest!! What goodies were in there :)

Great Baubles! Happy VTT!
ReplyDeleteGreat treasures you have. My grandmother had earrings just like these.
ReplyDeleteI love the pearl looking earrings, those are wonderful, and the vintage watch. I'd love to find a watch like that that worked, I wear it! Have a great VTT!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting assortment. Must admit the little watch and the cameo caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! Lots of fun jewelry and a blue jar to boot. I have a collection of blue jars, I love the way they look in a sunny spot. I do say that my favorites of the jewelry were the ones that sparkled. Have a Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThe pearl earrings caught my eye. You really goy a good deal!
ReplyDeleteWOW you might have more here than you think ... Happy Easter to you - I'll be playing along at VTT starting next week - see you then ;)
