With some quiet in the house for a few hours, I've finally been able to get back in gear with my jewelry- the first two pieces I made are pendants using a client's own seashells from her collection
Settings complete
Ready for dry fitting
After a good polishing we have the pecten shell pendant
and the olive shell pendant
Nice to feel productive again!

They are gorgeous! We took our daughter to the ocean for the first time last weekend and I don't think the beach has any more shells left! I came home thinking of making some jewelry with some of the shells. Maybe I'll start with earrings, they seem easier!
Oh my gosh Tara...the pink and white shell looks so much like one I found...you are such an excellent craftsman...really beautiful work!!!
Really gorgeous!!
They are truly beautiful. The Olive shell took me straight back to my childhood. I grew up in Papua New Guinea and used to pick Olive and Cowrie shells up all the time, still with the creatures in them. They were everywhere. I wish I had some shell jewellery from my childhood but I have moved so many times all of my childhood mementos have gone.
Those are beautiful!
