While reading The Crazy Suburban Mom's blog this morning I came across an awesome post on vintage kitchen appliances, pyrex and aqua- couldn't make me a happier girl! As I briefly mentioned in my post Thanks, Mommy! I collect vintage Blue Heaven dishes.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE old pyrex. Another great goody given to me by my mom was my grandmother's old pyrex mini loaf pans in- you guess it- aqua! They match my dishes perfectly and are so fun to bake in!

Oh! Almost forgot about my nifty vintage canisters- found these on eBay for $10!

Glad you did! Vintage thingies thursays is lots of fun and she has tons of people that sign up every week who will visit - Lots of them visit 'back' at first if they don't know you but so many people have so many very cool finds that its really just fun to visit really.

Aqua seems to be popular again. I have some turquoise or aqua Pyrex that I got when it was new and bought a Pyrex pie plate in that color at an antique show.
I can't believe you got those canisters for $10! They're amazing! Love your dishes too, and I never knew the name of that pattern. Now I want to see your kitchen!

I remember those atomic dishes. Your blue pyrex are actually refrigerator dishes, used back before plastic. Love those canisters.

My mom had canisters like these, but they were brown. I love your colors better! sorry I am so late, I want to throw my computer in the street.....Happy VTT!
