The scattered ramblings thoughtful musings of a work at home mom: jewelry designing, crafting for fun, cooking, decorating my house and raising three boys
While these two did this This one did this And Papa did a whole lot of this Mom tried to get some work done but kept getting distracted by this and this and this But did manage to finally get some work started- but far from finished. Did you have a snow day today? What did your family do?
Just stumbled on to your blog through entrecard and couldn't believe it. I was just telling my kids about when I lived in Newport RI in 3rd grade... about the red tide, the big snow, the clams you could dig up, the crabs that bit you, the SEA GLASS... you just can't find seaglass here like you could then. How nice to find your blog!
Our snow days were earlier in the week -- though we didn't get as much as you all got :) My son (13) had the honor of digging my car out.....only to find out that I had let it sit so long through the snows that ice had formed & I was just plain stuck. Poor little guy :)
We didn't have one today, but looks like we could have one tomorrow due to icy roads. It's sure hard to get things done when it's that pretty outside the windows!
Ugh, ice can really be tough! I remember last year hubby was away on a business trip and we had a horrible spring storm. I had to dig out my car and his- a job normally reserved for the man of the house- I thought my back would break, I am such a wimp!
Casto- my "work area" is portable. Our basement isn't heated so I abandon my studio space for most of the winter- only the really filthy projects still happen down there. For my soldering, I grabbed a giant scrap piece of plywood and I set up on that on top of my dining room table (which also makes for quick clean up at dinner time!) Snazzy, huh? :)
Mom of 3, wife of 1. I make my living designing and manufacturing jewelry from raw materials and found objects. I draw inspiration from the beach, mid century modern design, vibrant colors and my most awesome family.

We had a 1/2 day, that we didn't even need. I lounged around like a bum!
I just realized you aren't on the New England Bloggers list. Check out the button on my right side bar and leave a comment if you're interested.
Enjoyed your family's snow fun. We are really getting here today as well.

We had snow too and I kept looking outside. I absolutely love the sight.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

Sooooooooooo jealous!!!
Not only of the snow but of what looks like an extremely organized and clean work area. LOL :)
